These are the best!! I've spent about $700 on headphones the last couple of years.I gave these away when I bought the "best" under[..] headphones,Grados,Sennheiser,Shure,,,etc.I had to take the K26 P's back from my friend (sorry man) but they are much better than all the rest !!! They are only headphones I use !!!

AKG Acoustics K26P Foldable Stereo Folding Headphones
To me when i first bought these headphones i didnt like them.
until i let them burn in.now they sound much better.i hear much more detail
in my music/movies on my ipod.they cannot compare to my bose headphones.


5 stars Excellent sound, reasonable price
This is actually my third pair of AKG headphones. While I wish I hadn't broken or lost the previous pairs, I had only one thing in mind when disaster struck: get another pair! These headphones offer very rich and reasonably detailed sound at a fraction of the price of high end options. They are lightweight and therefore easy to transport and block out a very high percentage of outside noise. These are excellent headphones - that I hope to hang on to for a long time this time!


3 stars Sounds ok but feels terrible wearing them
I decided to buy the k26p headphones after i read about how the sound was on par or better than the sennheiser px200s. That might be true, but the design is pretty poor. Each headphone puts so much pressure on your ears! You cant listen to them that long because the pressure hurts too much after a while. Also, they stay on top of your head with two little square foam blocks on the metal band; about the furthest from ergonomic you can get. You feel the pain and discomfort of these two sharp cubes on each side of your head after wearing them for 10 minutes or more.
Sound is only half of the story with headphones. They at least have to feel comfortable for you to enjoy the sound, and the K26p definitely do not do that.


1 stars Painful Earphones Cause Pain
These thing hurt and they look stupid because they are bulky and perch on top of your ears. They're really uncomfortable. Don't buy them!!!!
